Source: Get It Done: Complete Projects that Matter with Seth Godin
"Projects are how we change the world.
"Five elements make up a project.
1. It interacts with other people.
2. It has a beginning and an end.
3. It seeks to deliver a change, a desired result.
4. It has constraints.
5. It involves unknowns."
We still need unbound time (creativity) and we still have tasks to do. These are not projects.
Project Management: No drama
Constraints are for a purpose, they are required. 100m dash is 100m long. It's a project because it has a boundry. Time, money, specifications
Three risks along the way.
1. Communication - how to talk to each other. Not more people but right people communicating the right way.
2. Risk management - Probably should outsource a commodity. You need to manage the project, not do the project.
3. Constraint - not being clear what needs to happen when.
