Work Lesson: the right boss matters. The boss that doesn't support you really is hurting you. If they can't help you get your ideas implemented or help you on your ideas there is very little chance you'll feel accomplished at work. If that's the case either talk with your boss, see if you can transfer to a new department, or fine work elsewhere. In the meantime, don't stagnate. Work on your ideas when off of work.
The fog fades as it rains. There's no window to open so I can smell it, but thank God there's a window. It's exciting to me, that patter on the window and metal frame. Watching the puddles on the road sparkle with drops. It's a hint of spring, a longing for warmer weather, for the thunder.
This week I was given a great treat: chocolate chip cookies! The excitement and giddiness was real. I was not at all expecting them, a true surprise. The kindness from that person overwhelming, more than they probably know.
Rain, cookies. It may not seem like much to some and how said for them. There's much to rejoice and be happy for. It's the small things that matter. It's the simple things in life.
